About us

Swedish Wood represents the Swedish sawmill industry and is part of the Swedish Forest Industries Federation. In addition, Swedish Wood represents the Swedish glulam and packaging industries, and collaborates closely with Swedish builders’ merchants and wholesalers of wood products. Swedish Wood’s aim is to increase the size and value of the market for Swedish wood and wood products in construction, interior design and packaging.

What Swedish Wood does

Swedish Wood is specifically tasked with broadening the market for wood and increasing the value of wood products. It is backed by the Swedish sawmill industry, including manufacturers of glulam, CLT and wooden packaging, and suppliers to Swedish and European builders’ merchants and wholesalers.

The Wood Market in Karlstad

Every year in November, the sawmill industry and their customers will gather once again at the Wood Market in Karlstad, a valuable platform for producers and customers to meet, share experiences, and discuss industry trends.
