The two blocks of student housing were efficiently built using volumetric units and a steel frame, finished with elegant and subtle wood cladding. The beautifully rhythmic site-built façades in larch wood reflect international designs. The warm, red-toned, almost sleek access balcony side has a particular empathy. The buildings are a welcome addition to the cityscape, showing that taking care with the façade composition can make even the most pared-back buildings into an architectural jewel.
