The building houses a laboratory and offices for paper pulp research and development. The two-storey block actually comprises two volumes with a glazed connecting corridor. The structural frame, which is exposed inside and out, is made from black glulam. The floor structure is made using Södra Semis. The façade is clad in untreated larch.
