Ljungdalen Holiday Home by Lowén Widman Arkitektur

Ljungdalen is a small village in Härjedalen. The cabin is situated at the top of a hilly site. It is a modern reinterpretation of a traditional timbered Härjedal house and is designed to blend in and be a natural part of the cultural landscape. Ljungdalen Holiday Home was nominated for the Swedish Wood Award in 2016.

Materials
Fine-sawn vertical spruce paneling, edge-glued spruce boards for window frames. Frame and walls in Isotimber and glulam. Exterior cladding in heartpine.
