The visitor center Tåkern is shaped like a cut from a reed. Inside there is a large space, facing the view of the birds on the lake and the sky. The folds imitate the movement of the landscape. The design is shaped by the fastidious need of openings. Visitor Center Tåkern was nominated for the Swedish Wood Award in 2016.

Mainly untreated pine paneling, ceiling and floor boards.
