Sophia Chraibi Fiorgi - moroccan designer

Swedish Wood engaged nine Moroccan designers in creating furniture on the theme of ‘Swedish wood meets Moroccan creativity and woodworking tradition’. The study trip is the next step in inspiring North African designers to use Swedish wood in more ways.

I have created a series of low, cleanly geometric tables in harmonious proportions. With their modern lines and functionality, they can be integrated easily into different environments.

Biog: Sophia Chraïbi Giorgi is a French-Moroccan designer, born in Lyon in 1982. Since studying at Grenoble National School of Architecture and graduating in spatial design in 2004, she has worked with a range of architectural practices and event organisers. In 2011 she developed a mobile design concept and presented her first prototypes at a collective exhibition of contemporary art.
