Swedish Wood is pleased to announce its continued participation in the international trade fair India Wood. This year representatives from ten Swedish sawmills will be present between 27 February – 2 March, 2020.
The Swedish sawmill industry knows that its future is linked to the protection and expansion of its forests. This, in combination with strong, effective laws, ensures that all Swedish timber comes from sustainably managed forests. Every harvested tree is replaced by at least two planted seedlings.
There are many sawmills in Sweden producing sawn wood products. Please find out below what their specialities are. The Swedish sawmills that export sawn wood products to India are Holmen, Martinsons, Norra Timber, NWP, SCA, Setra Group, Siljan Timber and Södra Wood.
