Jury’s statement - Outdoor Office:
Through the foliage, we glimpse a building that floats out from the sunlit forest slope and whose underside is designed as an outdoor room. Elegantly and simply executed with great empathy. The connection to the existing building is skilfully done. In the large central room, the nature outside is an almost physical presence. An outstanding project that encapsulates big ideas.
