TRANSFORMATION is the topic for issue 2/2025. How can we utilise what’s already been built and create more life in an area? Join us at Electrolux Group’s “new” headquarters on Kungsholmen in Stockholm, with 8,000 new square metres as well as 144 apartments. In southern Sweden, we visit the award-winning Varvstaden area, where Kockum’s old foundry has been transformed into offices—with wood providing a bold contrast to the crimson-coloured steel. And in Berlin, the Berlin Metropolitan School is a prime example of how an extension can do so much more than just add some extra square metres.
