During the trip in Sweden, Wu Wei was fascinated by the lakes in the forest. When he designed the table using Swedish pine, he dug some “lakes” on the table top for the storage of paper, pens, books, iPad and even a socket instead of making drawers. A sliding cover and the legs are stained brown.
In collaboration with East Design Show, Swedish Wood exhibited furniture in Swedish wood at East Design Show, at China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) in Shanghai on September 11th – 14th 2017. Swedish Wood displayed over 30 pieces of contemporary furniture by Swedish and Chinese designers.
